I don't know if this is acceptable, but since i REALLY don't want to make a Vlog for it i may as well post it in here. away we go:
Recently i saw this video -->
[link]i'm not going to explain this, so it's best that you watch that first, or this next bit will make no sense.
Ten years ago, i would have been five. Therefore i'll be speaking to her.
Hey, Kid. One big rule. Don't listen to what they say, no matter how low you get, you'll always have people who love you, and will bring you a lamp to light up that dark little room. Don Galli is one to stay away from. Don't listen to him especially, whatever he asks or says is a lie, he's no good. When everyone gets into Pokemon cards, leave it alone. Stick to your guns with Digimon.
Don't worry about your parents either. They'll be fine, they're never going to leave each other, even when things get tough. In two years your mother will tell you you're not going to be the youngest anymore. Don't worry about that either, she'll still love you, so will your dad, but you need to realise that for a while they'll be busy. help them out. And whatever you do, don't forget how to do laundry, it'll come in handy later in life.
When you're eight your best friend will need to leave you. Cry it out, don't bottle it up. It'll help, don't be afraid to tell people how you feel. After this everything gets a bit complicated for you, squirt, so listen up. When you're told about moving schools don't argue, don't fight it. the place you go to will be just as good, and most of the people you meet there will be good too.
When you're debating in class at your new school, keep in mind that although you might not agree with what you're fighting for or against, but you should see all sides of the arguements, keep an open mind.
When you pick up a guitar and try to play it but fail, don't worry, there's an instrument you'll love even more. And keep in mind that the boy you like then may not like you, but you can stay friends with him anyway, he'll accept your feelings even if he doesn't reciprocate them. A sprained ankle isn't a wasted day if you make sure you don't make it worse.
When you write that first story and then read it over, don't think it's just something you made up and it won't amount to anything. Refine your style, and don't let anything that old teacher of yours says get you down. Don't let go of your dream, no matter how far away it seems at that point, you need to stay with it.
In High School, don't be intimidated by the groups that're formed around you. most people will be indifferent towards you anyway. Concentrate on your studies and the people who actually care about you will stay as your friends. Don't be attracted to that needy, wormy, nerdy guy who follows you into the drum room, and when your friends talk about starting a "band" tell them straight out that it's unlikely they'll make it. if they don't listen, accept that and show them that you'll be there for them if/WHEN they fail.
When you discover your true feelings and sexuality, don't try to keep it a secret, because it'll come out in the end and it may or may not be worse. That cute girl in the year above you that you like, tell her straight off. Don't leave it until you're back in that dark place again to blurt it out. stay strong and you'll be okay. when you're given the opportunity to sing in front of an audience, don't turn it down, it'll help you later on. even if you don't feel nervous in front of big audiences, try smaller ones. They'll be like kryptonite for you.
Finally, keep your head up, don't let them walk all over you, and hold onto your dreams. When you need a hug there may not be anyone there for you, but if you wait long enough you'll find so many. I'll meet you in the middle, Kid.
